I’m a third-year university student in physics engineering, I worked as a marine engineer on cargo ships and I’ve been riding since I was nine. Suspension is my favorite thing to work on and mixing math, physics, and real-world testing lets me design smart, affordable solutions for riders like you.

We buy used forks and shocks online, rebuild them, and service our own bikes and friend's bikes all to learn and improve our tools. We can't just copy metal tools, anyway we can't afford to buy them. Ours are plastic, so they have to be designed smarter because there is no room for error.


This is my own DHX2, bought for $100 completely destroyed on the facebook marketplace. I rebuilt it myself using Shockwave tools and now, it feels unreal. That’s how confident I am about our tools. My dad, my girlfriend, my friends, they all ride suspension I’ve rebuilt with our tools.

At Shockwave, we believe most suspension problems can be fixed without $300+ upgrades or complicated installs.

Using physics, real-world testing, and a lot of math, we create simple parts that actually work even if they look so basic it’s almost funny.

We’ve worked hard to make small, affordable versions of expensive pro tools. We use laser cutting to make cheap metal tools when needed.

Not every tool needs to be made of aluminum

Our parts are tough, 3D-printed plastic. Most will last a lifetime (about 80% of our tools), some will handle 5–10 services, and the rare weak spots? We’ve made them replaceable.

Need a backup? Most replacements are under $20 and easy to find.

For tools like the Float X2 Narrow Clamps, we even include an extra set of clamps when you buy a set, just in case.
