Adaptive Air Token for Fox 40 / Marzocchi Bomber 58
Patent Pending Technology
Compatible with Fox 40 and Marzocchi Bomber 58. Dual-crown only.
Run lower pressure. Get insane support when it matters. Stay composed everywhere else.
The VSS is 100% polymer and uses virtual volume technology to dynamically change your fork’s effective air chamber volume based on impact intensity and duration. No moving parts.
VSS Configuration Tool (Required)
Get your exact nozzle size in 30 seconds. The system selects the correct baseline automatically.
→ Open VSS Configuration ToolTwo additional nozzles are included for fine tuning.
Choose Your Setup
1. Support Level (Required)
- Standard: Builds up to ~5–6 tokens on hard impacts. Best for most riders.
- DH Version: Can reach up to ~8 tokens in rare extreme hits. Still feels like 1–2 tokens during normal riding.
2. Nozzle Size (Required)
Controls how fast pressure builds inside the VSS. Your ideal size is selected automatically using the configuration tool.
Important: The DH version is not harsh. It only ramps aggressively during very fast, high-energy impacts.
What's Included
- 1× VSS Smart Air Token for Fox 40 / Bomber 58 (Standard or DH version)
- Your selected nozzle
- +1 softer nozzle
- -1 firmer nozzle
- Nozzle wrench
Pro tip: Start with the recommended nozzle. Adjust only if needed.
How It Works
Virtual volume, not physical volume. The VSS reacts to shaft speed, not position.
- Slow riding / setup sections: Feels like 1–2 tokens
- Fast terrain: Builds strong mid-stroke support (3–6 tokens)
- Extreme impacts: Standard version peaks around 6 tokens, DH version can reach ~8
You get maximum support when needed, without killing small bump sensitivity or making the fork harsh.
Common Questions
Q: Should I choose Standard or DH?
A: Standard fits most riders. DH is for aggressive riders, bike parks, racing, or very high speeds.
Q: Is the DH version harsh?
A: No. It only ramps harder during extreme hits. Most of the time it still feels very controlled and relatively soft.
Q: Do I need to change pressure?
A: Usually no. Some riders drop pressure slightly for more grip.
Q: Does it need maintenance?
A: : No. 100% plastic with no moving parts. Conservative lifespan is 2-3 years, but realistically it could last a lot longer.
Q: Is this just a bigger token?
A: No. It adapts dynamically. It’s soft when you need grip and ramps hard only when required.
About the nozzles: Slower airflow = more support. Faster airflow = softer feel. Fine-tune in minutes.

Bonne journée,
Hubert.
As a light rider VSS has fixed the issues of having to run low pressures and no damping to get a sub par result. VSS has given me the ability to use damping and higher air pressure for a better feeling and more controlled fork that allows me to push limits and race at a higher level than before. Definitely recommend to any light riders or anyone who just wants more suppleness with great bottom out control.
Thank you so much, Brayden! I really enjoyed working with you on this setup and learning from your feedback along the way. Light-rider VSS tuning is really interesting, and you ended up with a pretty unique setup on your Fox 40, DH tune with the Nozzle #2. Honestly, that combination is kind of crazy!
What I find especially interesting is that you actually had to slow down your rebound because the fork became so much stronger and controlled that you were carrying more speed than before. That’s a really cool result!
The fact that you were also able to increase your air pressure while still getting full use of the travel and bottoming the fork when you needed to is really interesting. It’s something I want to investigate further because the VSS can create some very specific and dynamic responses depending on how you set it up.
There’s a really interesting balance between air pressure and how quickly the system fills. The higher the pressure, the more quickly it fills and the more support you can build, while running lower pressure changes how progressively that support comes in. That’s a big part of why there are so many different ways to tune the VSS and why the same system can feel completely different depending on the setup.
Thank you again for taking the time to give me such detailed feedback and for being willing to experiment with the setup. I’m really happy I was able to help you find something that works better for your riding and allows you to push harder and race at a higher level. Have a great day, and keep sending it! 🤘

Super produit change le feeling de la fourche l'essayez c'est l'adopter!!
Thank JS!
Effectivement, une fois que t'as gouté au VSS, tu peux plus jamais t'en séparer! Ahah
Have fun,
Hubert
